How We Test & Review Products
1. We Buy It Ourselves
Every product is purchased at retail price. No free samples, no manufacturer partnerships, no sponsored units. This ensures our reviews are completely unbiased.
2. Hands-On Testing
Products are tested in real homes with real pets for a minimum of two weeks. We evaluate durability, usability, safety, value, and how much our pets actually like the product.
3. Data-Driven Scoring
We score products across standardized criteria: build quality, performance, safety, value for money, and pet appeal. Scores are averaged into an overall rating out of 5 stars.
4. Monthly Updates
Products get reformulated, redesigned, and discontinued. We revisit our top picks every month to ensure our recommendations are still accurate and available.
Editorial Standards
- No pay-for-play. Brands cannot purchase placement, higher scores, or favorable coverage. Period.
- No free samples. We buy every product at full retail price so our incentives align with yours.
